About Us
The Goals of our Practice
Arizona Hearing Specialists has a reputation for delivering “caring” treatment to all its hearing impaired patients. Janis Wolfe Gasch, Au.D. , founder and director of Arizona Hearing Specialists, started that tradition from the very first day. Arizona Hearing Specialists makes sure that comfort is included as part of every patient’s hearing loss treatment plan.
Dr. Janis Wolfe Gasch, Audiologist, started Arizona Hearing Specialists over 25 years ago. Arizona Hearing Specialists was the first private audiology practice in Tucson. From those small beginnings, Arizona Hearing Specialists grew and made a positive mark on the Tucson community. Arizona Hearing Specialists is a team of audiology professionals trained to help you hear better. As a team we will listen, make you feel comfortable, diagnose your problem, and come up with the best solution for you and your family.
Arizona Hearing Specialists has years of experience identifying, preventing, and solving hearing problems, and that in turn helps our patients live better lives. With our training, background, and ongoing education, we diagnose and correct hearing loss through non-medical rehabilitation. We focus on two important factors of our success; caring for our patients and finding solutions. Our style of care is rare. Here’s what we do to make a difference to our patients.
- Provide a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitation services
- Educate the patient, family, and loved ones about hearing loss
- Advise patients in a caring, supportive environment
- Fit the most appropriate hearing devices for each patient
- Provide maintenance and service of most hearing aids
- Promote an atmosphere of compassion and dignity for all patients
- Evaluate hearing ability in patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Encourage healthy hearing habits
- Provide patients with necessary hearing re-evaluations
- Establish a sincere relationship with each patient and their family
Our goal is simple … helping you hear your best. While amplification may be a significant part of your rehabilitation plan, our efforts continue after you are fit with a hearing device. We are here to help you learn to adjust to the new sounds you are hearing, make any necessary adjustments to the hearing aids, and follow-up with you on a regular basis, through our clean-and-check appointments.
